Beatrix Potter Blazed the Self-Publishing Trail

It’s said we are living in the Golden Age of Self-Publishing, but Beatrix Potter blazed that trail long ago. After submitting THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT to six publishers and receiving their nays, she decided to self-publish. She had 250 copies printed and the rest is history! Her book sold so well that Frederick Warne and Co, a publisher that had initially rejected the book, signed on for more Beatrix Potter books. There are many roads to publishing. Many twists, turns, and backflips.
